Conan: So, you threw a knife at your brother?
Check out the video here: Liam talks about fighting with Chris in the second interview.
Transcript from interview:
Conan: Now in my family, I’m one of four brothers, and we used to fight all the time. People are horrified when they hear that, because they think that’s unusual, but that’s - when brothers are close in age, that’s when they fight.
Liam: I feel that that’s when you really get to know each other, when you give someone a good punch in the face. That’s one way of expressing love, that’s how we did it in our house.
[…]
Conan: How bad would it get between you?
Liam: It got pretty bad. Me and my older brother never fought, but me and Chris, we used to fight non-stop. [When our parents went away for three months in Europe, the Hemsworth brothers had to live separately with different relatives] because we were too much trouble to be together. We would have a fist-fight about who would sit in the front of the car.
.. sounds like Chris Hemsworth playing Thor to Loki wasn’t much of a stretch in at least one department…
… this actually sounds exactly like my childhood, except with me and my brothers, we only pulled the knives, we didn’t throw them. Our fights usually ended around there.
I’m not sure if this kind of fighting sounds familiar to people who don’t have brothers close in age to them, but another friend with a brother closer to her age also remembers the same knife business, so… clearly this is not (that) uncommon.
so if I could sum up this entire post in a single .gif:
